FastForward Innovations: Leap Gaming strategic partner IMG Arena to offer virtual sports betting for NASCAR races

The sports betting game, developed by Leap Gaming and IMG Arena, will be offered to operators worldwide

FastForward Innovations Ltd (LON:FFWD) has noted that a strategic partner to its investee company Leap Gaming, IMG Arena is to begin offering bookmakers a virtual sports betting product for the NASCAR US stock car racing series.

FastForward said IMG Arena has entered an agreement with NASCAR which licenses its official assets to create a virtual sports betting game for the racing series and offer it to operators worldwide.

The game was developed in partnership with Leap Gaming, in which FastForward holds a 43.4% stake, and will replicate famous NASCAR tracks including the Daytona International Speedway, the Talladega Superspeedway and the Watkins Glen International.

The agreement will add to IMG Arena's portfolio of virtual sports betting products, which now include tennis, football, cycling, horse racing, speedway racing and greyhound racing.

The Agreement with Nascar represents yet another high-profile client that has recognised the capabilities and track record of Leap Gaming and its ability to develop cutting edge immersive games that appeal to a global audience", FastForward chief executive Ed McDermott said in a statement.

Shares in FastFoward were 1.4% higher at 6.2p in early deals on Thursday.
